How Often To Measure Blood Pressure
Be sure to take it easy from half an hour before the measurement (no extreme activities such as sports, work hard, cold showers), do not smoke and do not drink coffee.
• Sit on a high chair, with legs straight and together.
• Sit quietly for at least five minutes without talking, and then measure the blood pressure.
• Make a note of the upper and the lower pressure.
• Measuring the blood pressure after 2 minutes again. Make a note again the upper and the lower pressure.
• Repeat readings evening and note again the upper and lower pressure.
• Write down the date, the time, the upper and the lower pressure in a list or in a blood pressure diary.
